The government is thinking of bringing the revenue estates under the scope of land conversion

The state government is thinking of bringing lakhs of revenue plots in the state under land conversion.

Now for revenue plots, bank loans are not available for constructing houses on such plots. Now if the land conversion of revenue plots is allowed, the owners of plots and buildings will be allowed to get bank loans.

Therefore, the government has given serious thought to allowing revenue plots to be converted into land. Revenue Minister R Ashok said that if it is possible to make provision for this in the Act, we will certainly make provision for it.

After receiving the certificate from the applicant for land conversion, the land conversion work will be done within a week. If there are any complications from the fact that the said land belongs to Dalits, it will be known immediately.

Therefore, the minister said that the land conversion work will be done in a week based on the application without any complications. In case of delay in this work, this land conversion work will be completed in the name of the respective District Collectors within 15 days.
